Youth Group

Welcome to Youth Group!

For young people aged 12-17, Youth Group is designed for those wanting to give water sports a go for the first time, for people visiting Stranraer on holiday and for regulars to build and develop new skills.

Mondays at 4.30pm. Whether you're paddling, sailing, windsurfing or learning to row, every Youth Group session is packed with opportunities to improve your skills and build confidence while enjoying water sports and activities.

At SWSA we believe that water sports are for everyone. You don’t need to have any experience, and we provide all the equipment, including wetsuits, buoyancy aids and helmets. Can’t swim? That doesn’t matter - your buoyancy aid will be keep you afloat and we will support and help you build confidence in the water.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Learn new skills: Try paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing, rowing, and more!
  • Make friends: Join a welcoming community of like-minded people
  • Build confidence: Master new challenges and feel your confidence soar!
