Coastal rowing in Stranraer

Stranraer St. Ayles Skiff Project was an equal partnership between Stranraer Rotary and SWSA. Following the completion of SkiffieWorlds2019 the project has been formally closed. SWSA wish to thank the project Chairman Gordon Baird and the committee members for all their hard work and dedication to make the project such a success.

Of course you can now get on the water with Stranraer Coastal Rowing Club.

The project also saw the creation of a boat Build and Maintenance Club which meets at the boat house during the week and many of it’s members are also involved in hosting groups with activities.

Skiffieworlds2019 was a huge success and delivered by the project. This video shows the best bits of the championships. A huge thank you from the organisers to all the volunteers who made this happen.
